A happy mind is a happy body.
Well, not always, but it helps.
In an article published by Forbes, positive body language is addressed as a way to make everything — seriously, all of the things — better.
How? Why?
Positive body language changes your attitude. It makes you look and feel more confident and in-charge.
It communicates your emotional intelligence by showing that you can read the room, so to speak, and reflect your attitude outwards.
It makes you more likable, by putting you – literally – in a position that’s more friendly and open.
Taking small changes into account — standing with your chest open, holding your head up while you walk — can make you a different person. It starts with awareness.
They say that if you fake a smile for long enough, eventually it becomes real. I don’t know if it’s true, but it’s worth a shot.
