Happiness is supposed to be the goal — what we’re striving towards, what we’re working for.
But to get there, we have to stop over at meaning station. That is not optional.

Happiness has to come, but it doesn;t have to come first. In order to find that blissed space, we need to feel motivated — like we’re moving towards something. And that comes from meaning.
The goal is great, but what brings us there isn’t less important.
