There’s a really easy way to tell the difference between what you want to do and what you would like to do:
Fear.
When you want something so badly that you need it, fear becomes a motivator. The adrenaline, cold sweats, shaking, nausea — those are all challenges to be overcome.
Fear and want go hand-in-hand. The depth of emotion surrounding what you want, the amount of Self that you put into the chase and the action and the desire, is a magnet for fear.
The more you need something to happen, the more likely it is that the big Fear will try to stop it, because human nature is to avoid risk, and we all know that without risk, nothing good has ever happened.
The want is worth the risk.
