Cheryl joined Gapingvoid in 2023 as a Culture Design Strategist. Cheryl delivers user-centric solutions to address complex challenges with proficiency in operational excellence, design thinking, and strategy.
Prior to Gapingvoid, Cheryl was the Sr. Director of Operational Excellence at Waterfield Technologies, spearheading large-scale technology implementations, process optimization, automation, and business intelligence initiatives. Beyond process and technology, Cheryl facilitated strategic design thinking sessions with executives and department heads and provided leadership coaching to new leaders within the organization. Cheryl also held operational excellence roles at Pontoon Solutions where she supported the talent acquisition leaders in optimizing their contingent workforce strategies. There, she won “Game Changer of Year” for developing and deploying an automated workflow tool for onboarding.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Louisiana State University, a Masters of Psychological Counseling from Nicholls State, and an MBA from Colorado Technical University. Cheryl also has obtained certifications in Organizational Leadership and Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt) through Villanova and her Design Thinking Certification from Stanford.
Cheryl considers herself a lifelong learner and enjoys spending time with her family in the mountains of North Carolina.
