Amanda St. Maur joined Gapingvoid in October 2023, leveraging over 10 years of experience spanning anthropology, design, training, and consulting.
Amanda holds a BA in Anthropology and Italian from the University of Virginia. While earning her Master’s in Anthropology from George Washington University, Amanda published research catalyzing cultural and narrative changes at several historic house museums seen today. She then became a top performer in production art at a Fortune 100 startup, eventually assisting with training programs for the art department. Around the same time, Amanda founded a consultancy focused on design, brand strategy, and project management. Most recently, she has optimized operations for consultants in the organizational change field to improve their business systems and client services.
At Gapingvoid, Amanda combines her passion for studying cultures with purpose-driven work transforming organizations. She holds a certificate in User Experience Design from Google, further shaping her human-centered approach. Amanda thrives at the intersection of research, design, and positive change. She is based in Lexington, KY with her hound dog and hiking buddy, Kingston.
