I once asked my friend, Steve Clayton, why he likes working for Microsoft so much (he’s been with them for over 15 years).
“Because I get to play with the big toys, sooner than anyone else,” he said.
Show me a great product (Microsoft’s or otherwise), and I’ll show you a person who uncovered an amazing secret somewhere along the way, and now wants to share it with the world. That what the creative process is: Discovery. Then sharing.
“Share what you love” isn’t just a good moral position to take, it turns out it’s a damn good business model as well.
