Some people hate their job, because it makes them feel like they’re just a cog in the machine.
Yet some people are perfectly happy in the same job, being the same so-called cog.
Why? Because to the latter, they’re not a cog. Somehow they’ve managed to take ownership of their experience, they’ve managed to establish boundaries.
Whereas others just want to blame their boss for their misery or whatever.
Too many people think success and happiness are the result of external factors, whereas a lot of it, you could even argue most of it, is about attitude and perspective.
Simple, yes. Easy, no. There is a difference.
