This cartoon came out of a conversation with Peter Diamandis (co-author of “Abundance”) a few years ago at Joe Polish’s Genius Network event.
“Abundance” is a compelling and optimistic view of the future, that takes the position that not only have we never had it so good in real terms, this upward trend should continue exponentially, forever.
But we can’t there, unless we open our hearts.
And you can’t open your heart, embrace life, embrace the future, embrace human potential, unless you’re “glad to be here” in the first place.
Gratitude isn’t about getting you into heaven after you’re dead.
