They say everyone has a story.
But more than that, everyone IS a story.
By that I mean, we don’t see ourselves as these random lumps of matter, floating in space at a specified time.
But more as an arc, a thing that is becoming, a narrative.
And whatever this personal narrative may be we are very protective of it, we don’t want anything to spoil it.
Because that is what defines us to ourselves, that is what allows us to see ourselves as part of something…
…and not just lumps of random matter.
So the next time you’re trying to sell something to another person, just remember it’s not just about the product, it’s all about a seperate narrative you’re trying to become part of.
