Fearless innovation. How the heck does that happen?
Ever notice that it’s generally harder for big companies to innovate, it’s harder for older people to be disruptively creative?
The are subsets of the same emotion: Fear.
How on earth will you become a director, be able to put your kids through college, etc. etc., if you fail? The problem is that you have to be willing to fail in order to innovate.
So, we continue down the road of milking existing products, adding features, and tweaking, rather than creating true innovation.
Real innovation often comes from people and businesses with nothing to lose [read: no fear of failure]. They can be razor focused on creating what has never been done before.
The question is how do you create that sort of ruthless motivation to innovate at scale, in an environment where everyone has careers and kids to worry about?
That is when people call us 😉
