Once you enter the working world, the temptation is to stop caring. You know, dog eat dog, no more messing around, focus on the bottom line, and all that.
Meh. That might work short-term in the beginning. For a while.
Then you get older and you start see the people who are pulling ahead are the ones who care more than the other folks.
How do people get successful? Because they solve real problems.
How do they get to solve real problems? Because they actually noticed them.
How do they notice them? Because they had feelings. Because they cared enough to help out. Because tried to do something about it, while everybody else was sleepwalking right by.
Curiosity and empathy are never far apart…
