littleBits is a set of electronic building blocks that can be put together to form all kinds of circuits. And they empower kids to be creative.
“This is hugely important.” Bdeir explains In an article on Pop Science,
“Our students and kids have ideas that we’ve never thought of, so we have to empower them very early on to feel that they are change makers. Many kids are tech-savvy when it comes to using devices,” Bdeir says, “but they don’t necessarily think of themselves as creators.”
We have to prepare the next generation to be ready to work on their own, to use their brains to create every single day.
All the other jobs — those are being handed off to robots.
