The Holy Grail of marketing is convincing other people to share your stuff for you, what the professionals call “Word of Mouth”.
For example:
There’s a taco place in Miami called Coyo Taco.
They don’t do any advertising, but there’s always a line out the door.
Why? Because they make Mexican street food like it actually frickin’ matters.
And for people like me who think good tacos are a big deal, we make sure we tell our friends.
So maybe that’s why they say marketing is an art.
Because when marketing is done right, it behaves just like art.
It becomes sharable.
