What do you have to give up to get noticed?
In our pop star-obsessed culture, people give away a lot to get noticed. Their privacy, their dignity, sometimes their soul.
Fame becomes the outcome, at any cost.
It’s not limited to pop-stardom. It can also be that client engagement that you take, the internship, the borderline inappropriate circumstance that you tolerate because you think it’ll get you attention, further your brand, move you further up the food chain.
Of course, you always have to be asking yourself: At what cost?
[Something the little fellow in the illustration forgot to ask.]
