Hugh, to take you literally, here’s an idea for a cartoon, likely not new, but the words are important to me.

*My choices led me here*
and
*I chose to be here now*

I used to find myself thinking about what I had to do next and not focusing on what I was supposed to be doing now. By acknowledging that it was *my* choices that have created the circumstances that mean I’m here now, means that *I* chose this. This thinking has helped me be present, focused and far more productive. Do with it what you will, as ideas are worth nothing, execution is everything.
