To bring you truly great beer,
we have focused our efforts to one simple pursuit…ignore mainstream.
We brew the beer we want to drink.
In this pursuit we have found lower efficiencies, higher cost, less yields and smaller market share. This may seem like an unsound business model, but in our pursuit for bigger and better beer we have discovered a subculture of microbrewery aficionados. People like you, who enjoy beers that push the envelope of creativity.

That sounds like Crazy, Deranged Foolishness to me.

WOW, and I thought me and my beer buddies at Brecknock Brewing were odd balls because we went organic from seed to sip with our Pale Ale and Pilsner. We too are not looking to take over the beer business, nor are we craving huge market share, we simply want to make a quality beer with the lowest possible carbon foot print. We love beer. A little too much. But I`d like to draw your attention to some real CDF.
no product.
no marketing.
no ideology.
Everyone wants to be a part of it. What started as a joke, a rumour and a RAT in a SUIT is growing…

in fact this brewery is working with our friend,another crazy deranged fool, Steve Stallard of Blis who ages maple syrup in used bourbon barrels. They are using these barrels to age their breakfast stout. From what I have heard the foolishness has created something existential.

I used to go to Founders quite a bit when I was attending GVSU. Great beer. Hugh if you ever decide to head over there let us crazy deranged fools know. I’ll make sure I stop by and buy you a beer or two.
