The message is simple: healthcare begins and ends with real emotions.
No doctor or medical worker could do their job without a huge amount of personal empathy.
And that’s easy to forget, in the busy, stressful life of a hospital. So we made a “social object” as a constant reminder.
I would actually go further, and say this doesn’t just apply to hospitals. The older I get, the more important I think the emotional state of any company is to their overall performance. I’m just glad that after spending over a decade harping on this subject, the idea is finally starting to get mainstream traction.
Rock on.
