cardboard 444

“Cardboard 444”. Drew this earlier this morning. A little line drawing on cardboard. 2×3.5 inches i.e. business-card sized.
Since I got back from Austin on Friday I’ve been mostly working on DesertManahttan, and then goofing off the rest of the time.
Well, maybe “goofing off” is too strong a term. Just been doing a lot of thinking recently. A lot of new stuff is coming down the pike, and I’m just trying to re-calibrate my brain to handle it all.

I just saw the Sex and The City movie, and just saw a bit of Bourdain, and just read your questions of Seth.
The thing I love about New Yorkers is when they know they’re New Yorkers and all that that entails. Citizens of the rest of the world and certainly the rest of the US know they AREN’T New Yorkers. I love it when you embrace that.
That said, I’m glad you’re exploring the idea of “no rush” and recalibrating your brain. I’m looking forward to knowing about what’s coming, and how you share its/your story.

It would be extremely confusing if you weren’t a New Yorker and yet thought you were a New Yorker and vice versa. You’d get totally lost going down to the shops for a start.

Too bad it is only bs card size, I would name it: “The dissection of a lava lamp”.

For some reason,
I think your definition of goofing off
and the standard definition
are very, very different.
Loved the interview with Seth.
