Boredom utterly terrifies me. It always has.
I became a cartoonist for three main reasons: 1. Make a living 2. Avoid the aforementioned boredom and 3. Escape the usual pit of mediocrity that awaits too many of us upon leaving school
Hopefully your chosen path allows you to do all three as well. If not, I believe it’s still something worth fighting for with your every last ounce of strenth, even if it takes a lifetime.
