blue monster update

Steve Clayton’s signed “Blue Monster” litho is now bidding on e-Bay at £62.00 GBP [approx. $120 US]. Thanks to everybody who bid on it so far.
At time of posting, the auction has just over 24 hours to go. Exciting!
[UPDATE:] All proceeds are going to charity [the NSPCC]. Steve just announced: “If we hit £100 I’ll add £100 to it myself. How’s that?”

[UPDATE:] Final bid was £113.00 GBP. Wow. Tell Steve to get his checkbook out. Heh.

I have just come accross your blog. I love it. I love your cards and their subtle humor. I came across it reading a Spanish website mentioning the marketing strategy of Stormhoek. I clicked out of curiosity bracing myself for the worse thinking I’d find some techno-nerd’s website. But nothing of the sort! And here you are. And you are great! Never mind the wine, why aren’t you famous yet? Why had I never heard of you before? All that lost time.
Anyway, enough blah blah blah. Loving it.

What fun to be in a different time zone and see that since this post was published the bids have nearly doubled. Certainly made me smile first thing this morning because it is going to charity.
