Jaiku is a government controlled program to allow them to track people more easily. Since people don’t seem to like being tagged with GPS chips because they want to preserve their privacy, the government turned to Web2.0 for a solution. Now people just type in where they are and what they’re doing.
1 PM : Finalising plans to rob Barclays bank in Milton Keynes
2 PM : Milton Keynes: Just robbed a bank.
2:15 PM : Driving at 90 MPH down Midsummer Boulevard being chased by police (who somehow seem to know my every move – spooky)
Big Brother doesn’t have to watch anymore, he just reads your blog 🙂
