Gandhi didn’t say this, but that doesn’t make it less true. Until we can all speak freely, without fearing ICE agents or being assaulted by a senator, then none of us can say anything.
It’s our job to protect those who can’t protect themselves — and it always has been. So long as you feel protected, it’s your duty to protect those around you.
Because if the tables turn – you want those people on your side.
