Rachel joined the Gapingvoid Team in January 2022 as a Culture Analyst, while she was finishing her degree in Statistics from Brigham Young University. During her time at BYU, she undertook 3 years of research in diverse fields including bioinformatics, counseling services, and TikTok.
She came to Gapingvoid after working as a Data Scientist at BeatBread, a FinTech startup providing financial advances for musical recording artists. During her time there she critiqued their model, leading to more accurate predictions of artist income.
Rachel is based outside of Salt Lake City, Utah. She is passionate about community and togetherness. She has a love for coding, sports, and collaborating with her colleagues.
