Sometime early on in life, we are given an idea, a glimpse, of our true potential. We then spend the rest of our lives trying to live up to it.
Yes, it can be a terrifying undertaking. What if we fail? What if everything goes horribly wrong? What if it’s all just a big exercise in futility?
We have no idea. Nobody does. What we do know, is that you don’t get to hit the ball unless you swing first.
So you might as well swing. You might as well go for it.
And who knows, you might even hit the ball.
