I’ve been listening to a lot of Future of Work experts over the last two decades.
A lot of it, frankly, is buzzword salad. Just a lot of blether from people trying to sell something.
Though to be fair, one thing I do keep hearing I actually agree with: anything that can be automated or outsourced, will be. And probably sooner than you think.
The only thing you can do is try to make your career future-proof. Which means making it robot proof.
The robots will make everything we need, except the thing we need the most of: humanity.
And that’s where “art” comes in. Adding the human touch. That’s where turning what you do into an art form becomes truly valuable.
And so there we are.
