That quote made my overactive imagination get to work so I ended up scribbling too:
“As her eyes catch the bright note attached to the fridge she places down the glass of milk on the old battered wooden worktop.
Being an electronic girl in an electronic world she shrugs thinking that its just another shopping list, nothing that ten minutes online could not solve. Sighing, she reaches out and yanks the note from the Marilyn Monroe magnet.
Seeing his spider writing scrawled over it she squints to make out the words. The crunching of cookies in her mouth stops as her mind registers the word ‘fat’, she almost chokes and growls repeating his words ‘Fat??…Old??…Boring?? Pffft!!’
Purely out of spite she takes another cookie from the box and decides she will cancel their date as she has to…what is it that old people do again? That’s right…wash her dentures tonight.”

Samina love it…let me give it a go!
The funeral director was carefully closing the lid to the dark mahogeny coffin that tightly encapsulated the bulging body…Suddenly a weathered and torn piece of paper was thrown in. An memento, or perhaps an old love note? No, it was a Gapingvoid cartoon. — She turned away from her “past in the box”, gently sighing with relief, as she smoothed her little black dress. Putting on her sunglasses, she walked toward the door, and into the light of her brand new life without him.
