seattle geek dinner tonight

The geek dinner details have been finalized.
We’re meeting at 7pm at the Pike Pub & Brewery in Pike Market. So far about 17 people have signed up. Kudos to Eric Mattson for organizing it.

I’m off to Microsoft in about an hour… Meanwhile, the Blue Monster lithograph is currently bidding on e-Bay at £131.00 [approx $262.00 US]. Jeepers. The bidding closes in just under 48 hours, and all proceeds go to charity, so feel free to check it out.

My goal is to be “geekified” enough to attend a dinner.
I am failing miserably in Geekology and thank the geek gods, that you probably won’t be back this way for a few years.
But, it would be cool to hear you speak.

Crap, I am supposed to move to Seattle within a month. IF you’re ever back Hugh, I hope to make it out to meet you sometime. I’ve recently started blogging–in the past month or so, thanks to my internship at Edelman–and have been reasonably successful thus far.
Hopefully, you’ll be back to Bellevue sometime soon!
