This is AWESOME. I saw an author post today, spent weeks buying the “right” chair; while another started a new chapter, wrote three sentences and was exhausted.
LOVE your new rapid output too…
Sitting on HARD wood chair with a manuscript. Create or Die. Go!

I have the same architect drafting table. Perfect in it’s size and simplicity.
However, I am surprised that there is no artwork on the walls.
It’s a new apartment. Just moved in… the art will come in time đ
Yeah, it’s an Alvin drafting table. Simple and sturdy, designed to the job.
For working at a desk, a well-desgined chair doesn’t need to be “soft”.
Thanks for the kind words đ

Hello Hugh,
What is the name of the tablet you have on your desk that looks like it has your pencils and notebook strapped to it? Where did you purchase this item?
Also, thanks for all you do with the books, the blog, and the inspiring artwork.
