[The view of Trade Show Booth # 345-347 etc.]
[This is my official landing page for SXSW. I’ll be keeping it at the top of my homepage for the duration…]
I will be spending most of my time at the trade show booth. That’s the best place to find me. Booth # 345-347.
SATURDAY:
12.10 pm. Book singing at the Barnes & Noble stand.
4.00pm My old highschool buddy, the director, Dave Mackenzie has a film premier I’m going to.
SUNDAY:
Lunch. Barbecue with Scoble, Tony Hsieh and Rackspace…
I’m doing something with Loopt…
I have a new line of business cards…
NB. I’m writing this on the hoof, so if it all looks a wee but incomplete. Too busy running around, trying to see Everybody…
I’m on assignment covering some of the music venues later in the week… hope to make it over to meet you in between interviews.
Enjoy the craziness!
Dear Hugh,
I love the idea of your cards.
I’m decimated that it costs between 4 and 5 times the purchase price of the cards to ship them to Australia. There is no need for such a high shipping price (US$85 for 250 cards); it feels like your supplier is not trying. They are limiting your success in international sales.

Andrew, I’ll look into it, but I don’t own or control their business model, so we’ll see…
Andrew, go to http://www.overnightprits.com/Gapingvoid. Much cheaper.
Can you post the sxsw art gallery location and info. Thx.

I know you were in a hurry, but “book singing” brings a whole new concept to audio books! Unintentional language can introduce a new perspective on mundane things.
I’m starting to feel like the only one in the world who wasn’t at SXSW! The trade show booth sounds like a cool place to be … hopefully you’ll have one next year I can stop by!
That’s an awesome banner…have you ever posted the drawing on the blog? It’s wonderful:)
