Thanks so much to Babson President, Dr. Kerry Healy (Mitt Romney’s former Lt. Governor of Massachusetts) to come by my “I’m  Not Delusional” show and give a talk to The Babson Miami Alumni chapter, their second largest chapter after Boston. [Jeff took phots, you can go see the whole set here.]

Babson, as you know, are old friends and clients of gapingvoid. What does an illustrious New England college and a maverick cartoonist have in common? We both believe that in terms of creating both wealth and public good, Entrepreneurship is the great metaphor that will govern the Twenty First Century. And if it isn’t, God help us all.

i.e. It’s a metaphor worth fighting for. Exactly.

Thanks again to Dr. Healy. Ma’am, it was an honor and a pleasure to visit with you here in Miami.  I hope to see you in Boston again soon. Godspeed.

Hugh MacLeod is a genius.  Genius.

Seth Godin
Best Selling Author

His work acknowledges the absurdity of workaday life, while also encouraging employees to respond with passion, creativity, and non-conformity...   MacLeod’s work is undeniably an improvement over the office schlock of yore. At its best, it’s more honest, and more cognizant of the entrepreneurial psyche, while still retaining some idealism.

Last year my State of the College address was 76 slides loaded with data. This year it was 14 cartoons that were substantially more memorable.

In moments of indecision I glance at the wall [to Hugh's work] for guidance.
