  1. Amen! That’s about all I can say about this.

Except that I am so tired of hearing about “passion” this and “passion” that and just do what you’re passionate about and life will become one day of bliss followed by another.

What a crock! I know you like the Joseph Campbell “Follow your bliss” concept but what I really want to know is this: how do you find your passion and, assuming you can, how can you fund it?

No. It’s not OK, in mid-life, to pack up your bags and say bye-bye to wife and/or kids and/or job and/or financial responsibilities to run off like an 18 year old out of high school to “find yourself” or “follow your passion”.

Can you tell you struck a chord?

      Thanks, Ken,

      Dude, I feel your pain…

I see the mid-life crisis of people all around me, EVERY DAY day.

The result of worshipping other people’s gods, if you ask me…

The way to follow your passion is TO FOLLOW IT, not telling other people to follow it, not to talk about how you one day ASPIRE to follow it.

      :D
