  1. I think you could have some real fun with the Pareto Principle.

Draw ten pie charts and then say only two are doing any work.

  2. As low as that?

  3. In my experience 99% of ‘the corporate way’ was ‘talking bollox’ and only 1% ever seemed remotely interested. Not that I’m left with a bitter aftertaste from my last corporate experience at all ;o\

  4. Sad, but true. On a par with Woody Allen’s “80% of success is showing up.”

  5. Hey Hugh:

Can I use this cartoon on my website ( http://www.unrealjob.com/ ) and give you credit along with a link back to your website.

Many thanks and so long for now,

Testimonials

His work acknowledges the absurdity of workaday life, while also encouraging employees to respond with passion, creativity, and non-conformity...   MacLeod’s work is undeniably an improvement over the office schlock of yore. At its best, it’s more honest, and more cognizant of the entrepreneurial psyche, while still retaining some idealism.

Last year my State of the College address was 76 slides loaded with data. This year it was 14 cartoons that were substantially more memorable.
