Great insight, Hugh. Can we expand the description of rocks stars at the top of the pyramid to include American Idols and Idol Wannabe’s? For every Paul Potts or Susan Boyle is a karaoke whore in waiting.
Really? If you are not a rockstar you are just a wannabe and a whore? I support rock stars and have no shame in that.
My appreciation for the concept is tempered only by that errant apostrophe.

I think it‘s time to draw a line in the sand dude, between the sort of low-brow, unintellectual, cheap, rock star BULLSHIT peddled by the likes of mass media WHORE-mongers to the genuine god given gifts of visionaries, performers and those who have a message and a wish to change the world — whether there be recrimination, rewards, RESURRECTION, fire, persecution, loneliness-death in obscurity or a bullet in the back …
There is a big difference between those who seek only to divulge their weak interests for self indulgence and those who seek only to communicate with HONESTY and TRUTH.

Genuinely? I like some of Hugh’s cartoons, but come on. You don’t have to climb *all* the way up his ass.
And the rogue apostrophe doesn’t help.
Good lord, I liked Hugh‘s shit better when all he did was ‘insult‘ people…Hugh, we love the rah rah diy live the dream rock rock on, but please don‘t ever lose the snide.
Rob called me out, and he’s right. I was a little
too quick with the “great insight” in my earlier post. It was a “clever” insight with a smartass payoff. Guess I’m a sucker for pyramid diagrams and smartass payoffs. Still not a fan of floating apostrophes.
This is a pyramid of whores. Nowhere is “everyone” indicated. Rather: most whores don’t get out of selling themselves quite what they were expecting.

So first I spend half an hour looking for the apostrophe.
Then I see JM has it right.
