The “Lone Wolf” is a familiar enough metaphor, so people actually do get it… I drew this cartoon over 10 years ago, the has analogy has worked well enough since.

So, I’d choose to be a wolf hanging around with a couple of other wolves within a big herd of sheep.
I’m sure someone else can provide the business analogy.….
