To bring you truly great beer,
we have focu­sed our efforts to one sim­ple pursuit…ignore mains­tream.
We brew the beer we want to drink.
In this pur­suit we have found lower effi­cien­cies, higher cost, less yields and sma­ller mar­ket share. This may seem like an unsound busi­ness model, but in our pur­suit for big­ger and bet­ter beer we have dis­co­ve­red a sub­cul­ture of mic­ro­bre­wery afi­cio­na­dos. Peo­ple like you, who enjoy beers that push the enve­lope of creativity.

That sounds like Crazy, Deran­ged Foo­lish­ness to me.

    WOW, and I thought me and my beer bud­dies at Breck­nock Bre­wing were odd balls because we went orga­nic from seed to sip with our Pale Ale and Pils­ner. We too are not loo­king to take over the beer busi­ness, nor are we cra­ving huge mar­ket share, we simply want to make a qua­lity beer with the lowest pos­si­ble car­bon foot print.     in fact this bre­wery is wor­king with our friend,another crazy deran­ged fool, Steve Sta­llard of Blis who ages maple syrup in used bour­bon barrels. They are using these barrels to age their break­fast stout. From what I have heard the foo­lish­ness has crea­ted something exis­ten­tial.

    I used to go to Foun­ders quite a bit when I was atten­ding GVSU. Great beer. Hugh if you ever decide to head over there let us crazy deran­ged fools know. I’ll make sure I stop by and buy you a beer or two.
