hi hue, I used to visit ur blog daily with great intrest, but I dont find your blog interesting anymore..
I am sorry but Amarica has changed you mate.

  2. Connie Reece says:

Make that in a decal and I’ll put it on my laptop.

  3. ShyTrbleMaker says:

I can see T-shirts catching on like wildfire. Another notch in your — portfolio?

  4. John Dodds says:

“Social Media Specialists Aren’t!” would make a good T shirt.

  5. Definitely a great T-shirt.
Now in order to make it popular use it for a good cause that will get more attention for media and give more traction.

  6. KAPITEL says:

Got anything for the antisocial media specialists?

  7. Rudy from Trulia says:

I like it Hugh. But of course, I’m a bit biased :)

Dude, I love this series. Cracks me up

  9. Randall says:

If I never hear the phrase “Social Media Specialist” again, it will be too soon. Everyone on twitter is a “Social Media Specialist.”

  10. Dig it immensely. Litho Print! But then it does need to be portable too — Tee-shirt. No, cap.
Hey I didn’t know ‘hue were Amarican’… is that like next to Rusher or a Lasker?

  11. jimbo says:

Sex sells mate, and social media is all about selling “yourself”. Women dominate. they are all the modern Players baby, they play ya.

  12. Peg says:

Hmmm. Love the image, but experience cognitive dissonance trying to get at the idea of a “social media specialist.”

  13. I am American and I think you’re brilliant. :)
I say it would make a stellar tattoo. Rudy? Interested in a tattoo? *teehee*

  14. Larry Kless says:

hugh, how about a version with glasses to add that sexy nerdy look? 8-)

  15. Carolyn S. says:

I’m not seeing it as a litho — I think because of the blue background. T-shirt definitely; decal ditto.
    Ps. Home through the holidays?

  16. Dan Thornton says:

Great to see it confirmed, but sadly I suspect there are still degrees of sexiness within social media, and no amount of Facebook friends, or Twitter followers will accomplish for me what genetics had denied. :)

  17. What’s a social media specialist? Is the joke lost if you don’t know the context? The monster is kind of cute I guess…

  18. Thomas says:

I like the laptop decals ideas for these definitely, that said I am thinking tshirt, because I need another gapingvoid tshirt.

  19. Love it. Makes me want to be a social media specialist.. no, really.

  20. Barce says:

woot! it’s the purple monster of LOVE!

  21. Dig it immensely. Litho Print! But then it does need to be portable too — Tee-shirt. No, cap.
Hey I didn’t know ‘hue were Amarican’… is that like next to Rusher or a Lasker?

  22. Karyn Romeis says:

It would be just the best thing if this were to appear on the geekiest gadget/item of clothing you can imagine!

  23. Sam says:

    Hey Hugh,
Listening to the radio this morning I heard that Dell is going to be charging customers etra if they want customer serivce from the States. What do you think, inline with create or die?

  24. S&M&S says:

This shirt reminds me of mitch hedberg’s line about bumper stickers.
He appreciated people who put bumper stickers on their cars, because it was a sign that he shouldn’t ever hang out with them.
    So go ahead, sell away.
    RIP MH

  25. michael says:

hugh, you already did tshirts. i thought you had abandoned it as not being very satisfying. changed your mind or changed your approach?

  26. hugh macleod says:

S&M&S, yes, I’m going down the total sellout route. Mainly because it offends people of your sensibility. Exactly.
Since blogging this cartoon [yesterday] I’ve gotten a lot of e-mail interest for both t-shirts AND lithos. Rock on. Thanks, Everybody! :)

  27. Bluenoser says:

I think the decal is the way to go. I had your widget on my blog but it’s slow refreshing. Is it something I’m not doing right or are you the one that pulls the trigger on that one.
    –B

  28. hugh macleod says:

Bluenoser, currently the widget is updated manually by me, when I get around to it. We’re planning to build an auto-refresh sometime in the new year.
Thanks for bringing it up :)

  29. Scott Gamble says:

T-shirts. There were t-shirts. Oh, the agony of being a gapingvoid newb… :(

  30. Cathy Elaine says:

    Definitely a T-Shirt.
    LOL
    No, seriously.
    LOL

Please can we have a biz card version of this?
