    Con­foun­ded words. But if I can keep my ram­ble in check… I think I believe in pre­des­tiny. Not in a bad way, not like “free will” isn’t. But like in Adams’ story, the Earth and huma­nity was meant to cal­cu­late the ques­tion to the ulti­mate ans­wer, we are the com­pu­ter. We can’t pre­dict what we will do, so it appears as though we are in con­trol of what we do. I think, though, that we are part of a vast cellu­lar auto­mata that we can’t analyze because it would tau­to­lo­gi­cally explode in some huge sparkly poof worthy of Star Trek. What we are free of is con­trol. Hmm. Events and what we do are not in our con­trol.
    Sorry, my brain MUST be lea­king…
