“fred 44″ update
[Click on image to enlarge etc.]
Spent much of the day working on “Fred 44″, an 18x24 inch, ink & pencil on paper.
Right now it’s mostly pencil, but there’s a bit of pen action going on. The latter will increase in the later stages of the drawing.
I have a new Secret Evil Plan as to what to with this drawing, once it’s done. Watch this space. Rock on.

I like it, it looks like a big bustling city from a bird’s-eye view. Keep up the good work.
Where’s Wally?
Okay, enoughs enough. I’ve been looking for ages. Where’s Fred?
I have been reading your blog for a while and find your work very interesting. As a high school art student, I just have one question: why do you never use color, or anything other than ink and pencil? Is it just a preference thing? I know that I love working with new mediums and experimenting with color all the time. As an artist, even part-time, I don’t really see why you would constrict yourself to just one or two mediums. You are obviously creative and talented enough to branch out to other types of drawings and maybe even paintings.
I’d like to hear your opinion/reason for this.
