Ben Grada, I’m not anti-Facebook. In fact, I quite like it… But the ever increasing amount of non-relevant stuff it’s letting through the net is beginning to concern me.
I actually met Mark Zuckerberg earlier this year in Silicon Valley. Good guy. Wicked smart and gracious manners. I hope he works it out.

@Jose Castillo I know what you mean. I only joined Facebook because of Friend Group 1… but I am very much in Friend Groupo 2.
I just don’t see the appeal. I only like the “So and so is…” feature and Twitter does that so much more nicely for me.
So if I don’t want to be a Zombie or a Werewolf, be poked or have food thrown at me what’s it for?
I haver a blog, I Twitter, I have photos on Flickr…
Don’t get me started on the look and feel and UScentricity of the mobile features…

Ironically, I was just having a strategy session today with a company that was not monetizing their transactional emails. ie… you make a friend request, why doesn’t the friend request email have an advertisement in it?
I guess I never looked at it from your perspective.
