    Amen to that my friend. This month I turn 52, and I’m not get­ting bet­ter with age, just crabbier.

    It is fast, isn’t it? Coming upon my 40th decade, I still feel like I’m 12, which is a good thing :-)

    Perhaps it is my Imp of the Per­verse but I find even your dar­kest car­toons delight­ful. As I speed toward 60 I can attest this one is all too true. The years from 50 to now went by in a blink and, other than having some of the tric­kier pie­ces fit into the puzzle of exis­tence, there were few chan­ges in that time. Whe­reas the decade from 30 to 40 saw the usual many job chan­ges, but also the most com­plete and pro­found life chan­ges; from get­ting married, to the woman I still am; recog­ni­zing the spi­ri­tua­lity in all of us; to aban­do­ning my per­so­nal demons of drink and drugs. I look for­ward to, hop­fully, seve­ral more deca­des and wish you con­ti­nued suc­cess in yours.
