    I’m a committed, fairly observant Jew outside of Chicago.
    What does it mean that Judaism is your mistress? I’m very interested!

    I think Hugh means nothing. Let’s not overintellectualise it. It is but a cartoon and thus exempt from political and religious stigma.

    Why is it to difficult to accept that -isms are just fictions ?

    Why does the cartoon have “judaism is my mistress” and the title over it say CHRISTIANITY IS MY MISTRESS? More layers of meaning or a Freudian title?
