just found your blog today via jen and i really like it. also loved hallam foe,which i saw at the berlin film festival this year– what a relief to see that film ‚having seen the unbearable bordertown with jennifer lopez the day before. did i just get that right that you did the artwork ( or how do you call that in english? ) for that film? all the best from berlin, anja

Nice movie—went to see it in Berlin the other day, unfortunately dubbed into German (prefer original voices) though that might be a good sign the movie is on its way to success.
I guess the only connection between geek dinners and the Microsoft monster and Hallam Foe’s woes is—you, or more generally, “blogging”. But I also guess that’s alright. Been there, watched the movie, otherwise busy with my own stuff. So are you and everyone else. Fair enough! The “conversation”, “etc”. Er, off to more work.

It came at the right time — Catcher In the Rye has far more resonance in the States than anywhere else.

I’m looking forward to seeing Hallam Foe. Although, I wonder if you noticed the irony as Catcher in The Rye was a malapropism whereby Holden had misheard Robert Burns’ “Coming Through the Rye”, thus making Coming Through the Rye the original Catcher in the Rye.
Is my thinking too geeky?
