@ Seth: I had a similar ordeal in a wine shoppe in Seattle — “South African wine? I’m not sure that we’re able to import from there… (!)
So first order of business, Hugh, is to make sure that Customs has been informed that you can export to Seattle, USA.
Say Hugh, were your ears burning? I mentioned you re our little Microsoft romp when I was interviewed on “The Marketer’s Podcast” by Alan Stewart… Alan is a wonderful Aussie doing some great work on educating the world on marketing via poscasts, SEO, etc. He’s on http://www.themarketerspodcast.com and has ~40 interviews so far — good stuff. Go check him out. Oh, I’d bet he’d love an interview with you. Two special people having a chat and recorded for history/posterity, whateverity. Would you be up for it? I’ll admit that Hugh has sparked this quasi-wino’s interest. I went to my local Brooklyn liqour store and:
Clerk– “Can I help you?”
Me– “Where do you keep the South African wine?”
The clerk looks at him like he’s from Mars (or Africa).
Me–(sighs) Can I just have some Two-Buck Chuck?
Clerk– red or white?
Anyway, long story short, does anyone no where/if I can get this in NYC? In sticking with the principles laid out in the earlier Facebook post, I figured this would be the best place to ask. Thanks.
