    Love the “yes, but” guy! You com­po­sed this car­toon per­fectly, with the power­ful all-caps truth in the sky dwar­fing the whiny little voice of resis­tance. :)

  4. I just went to a rela­tionships workshop for my next column. The idea there was that pola­rity was abso­lu­tely neces­sary (mas­cu­line and femi­nine ener­gies). Resis­tance is what makes us learn. Well, those who recog­nize that resis­tance is there for a les­son, and not an obstacle.

    Didn’t Machia­ve­lli make much the same point:

    I’ve never heard anything truer. We all yes, but­ters in this world, it helps us move on and become great mwah ha ha … erhmmm sorry about that..
