He was refe­rring to the sha­red growth of both Mic­ro­soft and Open Source within the entire tech eco­logy etc.

    He looks fierce but that’s not a bad thing. Gets your a$$ off the bench.
    No one gets ins­pi­red by the coo­kie mons­ter (the other popu­lar blue monster).

    As we all know the pretty pink mons­ter is the sub­ver­sive one that mana­ges to do all the inte­res­ting things with its own uni­que and inno­va­tive style… (and we can all see what the loud mouthed blue one is up to! ;) )

    The soft­ware com­pany trying to be hard?
    Mic­ro­soft have chan­ged the world. Now they need to focus on making it a bet­ter place by hiring a few qua­li­fied desig­ners with a track record. Mic­ro­soft needs more huma­nity, not more monster.

    Mike, did you read the text/watch the video about what ins­pi­red the “Blue Mons­ter” and the story behind it? It’s addres­sing exactly what you’re sta­ting in the last sen­tence.
