Overall I think it’s a well written post and has some very valid points. The main point is nobody fears Microsoft these days. GREAT — that’s progress I think. Why should people fear Microsoft? That’s what got us a bad name in the first place!

Hey Jon, yeah, it reminds me of the drawing I did for you two years ago… not to mention, “The network is more powerful than the node” sounds exactly like something you would say

Someone recently asked me “how do you design a network” ?
I replied “You don’t”. But you do come up with a clear purpose, instantiate it at a node that has something useful to say or do about that purpose, and go from there …
