Read the New Yorker, watch Letterman and study American History. You can't rot to death any faster than to embrace the New York experience. And you figured that out. So, enjoy Austin. Get to the entertainment district and listen to some really great Country Music, line dance once, eat some Bar B Que - they don't have that in London - and realize that there are some great Ad Agencies there. Maybe just handling the print media purchases and living on a nice 6 acre spread will set you free. Or not.
