I am wri­ting this from a small hotel in Pres­ton. We’re too tired to go out, so we’re sta­ying in and catching up.

    I’ve only been to Black­pool once, but it was also off-season — January, I think. Very odd to walk down near-empty streets in such an obvious vaca­tion area. I live in Flo­rida, but even during the win­ter, we have Snow­birds. No such think in Black­pool. ;-)

    You’re making me jea­lous. I wish I was ‘back’ in York (although it’s pro­bably too cold right now to really appre­ciate the city).
