  1. Unfortunate turn of events. Arrington lost his good karma.
    Bleh :-/

  2. Heh, never one to shy away from controversy, eh, Hugh? (It’s one of the reasons we heart you.)

  3. Lol, so true. I’m gonna forward this to my stupid stepson, who wants to quit college to blog.

Why would anyone /want/ to be Michael Arrington? :)

good thing I wasn’t drinking any coffee when I saw this…
I’ve been reading all the recaps of LeWeb3, all the sturm und drang of it all…
making me think of last year’s whole Ben and Mina thing…
and just kinda giggling. Same stuff, different day…:-)

    Hugh,
But that is where you are wrong. I’ve researched this and it turns out you ARE Michael Arrington. Take it from me. I’m a blogger and I know.

  8. Marti says:

Thank God we’re not all Michael Arrington. Wouldn’t that be boring as hell? (Picturing clicking through blog after blog, all MA clones — yuk.) The diversity of bloggers is what makes it special. A poet, a soldier, a humorist, an advertiser, a guy who pours tar on roofs (I saw that one while Blog Explosion surfing).
Thank God we’re not all alike.

  9. David Armano says:

I keep hearing about Michael Arrington. Who is he? Is he the founder of Technorati?

  10. hugh macleod says:

No David, Michael is the founder of Techcrunch.com.
Interesting guy. And he’s always done alright by me.…
