federated media survey

how's your strategic vision.jpg
I have a favor to ask y’all.
I’ve just signed up with Federated Media, to handle my advertising.
Before we can get the ball rolling, I need as many gapingvoid readers as possible to fill in this survey, to give the potential advertisers some data to work with.
If you could give it a go, it would be very helpful for me, thanks.

[NB: The information is only for demographic purposes, and individual information will not be used for marketing directly to the user, or sold to another party etc etc.]

"Hugh's Daily Cartoon" Newsletter. A new cartoon sent out every weekday morning to your inbox [RSS version here.]. A wee chuckle to start your day off right etc.

Great idea — i just completed the survey.
As I was doing it, privacy flags kept going off in my mind. Given this crazy world we live in, you may want to comment that the information will only be used for demographic purposes and individual information will not be used for marketing directly to the user or sold to anyother party. maybe a link to federated’s privacy policy would help.
Good luck with the new agency, Hugh.

I guess they mean the ads.

Good thinking, Scott. I’ve added your suggestion to the post, thanks =)
Nick, I suppose they do, yes.

Can’t wait to see if they do contact me in the future. I am not the person the neighbours come running to to ask if I have tried the latest gizmo.
They go to my neighbour who has fallen for my misinformation campaign that a huge mobile Bluetooth thingy sticking out of ones ear while sitting in session at the local parsh council meeting is cool, super cool! So being a type A wannabe he does.

Hey, just filled out the survey. I was wondering if any of us will get to see the results, ie, could you post it? Would be very interesting to see what kind of people read your blog. Love your drawings!

  6. If you’re looking to make money off your content with ads, I highly recommend using FeedBurner for in-feed ads. The CPMs are great, and I don’t know about the rest of your users, but I only visit your site when I want to comment. Otherwise, I strictly view it in the feed. Fred Wilson has comparable traffic to you and he’s pulling down well into the 5 digits in feed ads alone per year.

Hey, just filled up the survey. Glad to be of help!
